We want to present to you the result of a work that a group of anesthesiologists and computer scientists decided to start several years ago with the idea, almost a dream, of taking advantage of the possibilities that we thought the implementation of the use of computer tablets in daily anesthesiological practice could have. We know that we have room for improvement, that things will have to be added and/or modified, that others will have to be polished, but we want to do it with you, with your interest, if we manage to arouse it, and with your feed back, if we can. you want to do it, which we hope and desire. We have put in great doses of enthusiasm, work and stubbornness, and we proudly present to you this modest project that was born that does not renounce being great. The introduction and development of informatics in daily clinical practice is an evident fact. The appearance of tablets does nothing more than provide new lines of development and opportunity both in the care work that is carried out daily and in the optimization of management tools, which can now access elements and data that until now were lost or They were complex to recover and process. For this reason, Intrasalus SRL was born, a small adventure created by anesthesiologists and computer scientists, and with the first-hand vision of the anesthesiologist regarding their needs, to contribute their grain of sand in the development of the Specialty in regarding day-to-day professional practice. Aware of the existence of this niche of development and opportunity, we have begun the design of the project of a suite of specific computer applications for the anesthetic process, which we have called Intrasalus® SIMpro, from the preoperative to resuscitation, passing through the sheet of anesthesia and monitoring of acute pain by the UDA. As a result of this development, we are pleased to be able to present the first app in the suite, SIMpro1 Anesthesia Sheet, available in the Apple Store for download at the IntraSalus Anesthesia Sheet link. If, as we wish, this app arouses sufficient interest and proves useful for the purpose for which it has been designed, it will be followed by the rest of the apps in the suite: Preanesthesia (in the development phase), Acute Pain (in the development phase and practically completed) and REA/Critical Care (in the planning phase), which will offer, in our opinion, complete coverage of the needs generated by daily anesthesiology practice as a whole, from the preoperative assessment of the patient to discharge from anesthesia and pain control. postoperative acute.

Anesthesia Sheet is the first native app of the Intrasalus suite, specifically designed to collect data related to the surgical-anesthetic act in a simple and intuitive way. In this first phase, it allows the collection of data on a local network, as well as the possibility of exporting it to a printed text sheet if necessary, as well as managing the consumption data of each specific operation. At this stage, it is an ideal app for work in private medicine or for small hospitals with a not excessive number of surgeries. In its ideal final state, when its development allows it to be connected to a central server, it will allow the storage of all data, manage all of it in a global way and even import the data collected from the patient directly from the future Preanesthesia app or export it. to UDA/Acute Pain and REA/Critical Care.

In conclusion, we are convinced that the project we present is an extremely useful and simple to use, intuitive tool that will allow not only the mere creation of a routine anesthesiological document, but also the extraction of a large amount of data that at the current time escape, with their consequent application to operating room management, in terms of time and consumption, allowing conclusions to be drawn based on real data that help optimize the operation of the surgical block. We could point out, as a summary, the characteristics and potential that we believe, in our opinion, Intrasalus will provide once it reaches its maximum degree of development and connectivity.

Intrasalus is offered in its current state as a simple and effective alternative in the work environment of the anesthesiologist in his private activity and/or hospitals of small size and volume of patients for the management of data from the anesthesia sheet. In the not too distant future this can be completed with the planned complementary apps of Pre-anesthesia, REA/Awakening and Acute Pain, offering a comprehensive view of the complete anesthetic process of the surgical patient. In its ideal future, once fully developed and connected to a central data storage cloud:
